Lyme disease is probably the only disease where you have medical doctors, scientists, state and federal government
medical institutions that have varying opinions on diagnosis and treatment as well if chronic or persistent Lyme
disease even exists. Unfortunately, the patient is in the middle of this dilemma and usually not getting better,
but worse. In many cases, a misdiagnosis with some other illness that is more align with the consesus of mainstream
medicine may be given. If Lyme disease is suspected, treatment is usually short-term antibiotics prescribed for
less then one month. If the patient does not respond, there options can become very limited resulting in more visits
to more doctors with no results. Yet, continued suffering with a disease that supposedly does not exist long term,
but only short term; less then thirty days.
We hope the information presented in the following sections will help you make an informed decision on how to proceed
as well as a better understanding of Lyme disease.
